Newtown : The First Steps

The discussions around this tragedy have taken the route of what can we do and when is the right time to do it. If there were ever a time for soft assistance, this is it.

First and foremost, the emergency personnel from so many squads responded and had to spend hours in the school with the carnage. We are so grateful to these people and want to remember them. They hurt as much as anyone else in that community.

Red Nose Response will be delivering in person bouquets of 26 red noses each to those squads and teams. We plan to do this in early January as soon as we can make the arrangements with their leaders.

We have asked our responders and followers to post messages of appreciation to those who were on the scene. You can do that on our Facebook page and we will include those messages with our bouquets.
